ROCCIA TLIF: THE LORDOTIC BANANA CAGE OPTION.

The ROCCIA TLIF (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) was specifically developed for the challenges posed by transforaminal treatment of the thoracolumbar spine. The challenges posed by the sagittal balance, taking into account primary stability and restoration of physiological lordosis, were in the focus in the design development and the scope of the portfolio.

CRACK THE CODE:

The sterile-packaged ROCCIA TLIF implant has a color code that enables easy allocation of the associated preparation instruments and trial cages. This facilitates intraoperative processes in order to pave the way for efficient and individual treatment of the patient.

PREPARING THE REQUIRED FUSION.

Symmetrical truncated-pyramidal teeth on the surface of the titanium implant support good primary anchorage of the cage on the base plates and cover plates, while the cage, when implanted correctly, is largely prevented from sinking in by virtue of its broad supporting surface. The generously proportioned chamber system in the cage facilitates an improved interbody fusion, providing plenty of room for autologous or homologous bone material and/or bone substitute material for a later intended fusion.

THE BUILDING BLOCK FOR RECONSTRUCTION.

A variety of ROCCIA TLIF sizes are available for the best possible treatment of the patient's anatomy and pathology. The portfolio includes nine anterior heights (from 7 to 13 mm, in 1 mm increments, as well as heights of 15 mm and 17 mm) and two widths (28 and 34 mm). In addition to the regular lordosis angles of 0°, 5° and 10°, hyperlordotic cages with an angle of 15° are also available.

The insertion instrument corresponds to the corresponding cage with the respective color coding.
