VERTICALE MultiLocking is an extension of the VERTICALE dorsal screw-rod-system to facilitate the treatment of complex deformities and spine fractures. It can be used in both open and minimally invasive technique.

FULL CORRECTION CONTROL

VERTICALE MultiLocking allows the surgeon to maintain control over the screw tulip position and change the extent of correction intraoperatively by changing the orientation of the screw head independently of the screw shaft.

INNOVATIVE LOCKING FEATURE

The MultiLocking pedicle screws feature an innovative locking mechanism that offers the possibility to lock or release the polyaxiality of the screw head during the correction procedure, without the placement of a rod or a set screw. This innovative locking feature allows the MultiLocking screw to mimic polyaxial and monoaxial pedicle screw capabilities in any orientation. This gives the freedom to change or maintain the optimal orientation of the screw tulip at any time.

ADDITIONAL CORRECTIVE OPTIONS

Using this system lordosis or kyphosis can be actively adjusted and rotation maneuvers or even parallel distraction or compression can be performed. The corrective maneuvers can be performed without rods inserted and enable a broad range of uses including the treatment of complex deformities or fracture of the spine.
